Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte
Presented by Collins Classics in 1952
Made in England
The title of the novel, Wuthering Heights, comes from the Yorkshire manor on the moors of the story. The narrative centers on the all-encompassing, passionate, but ultimately doomed love between Catherine Earnshaw and Heathcliff and how this unresolved passion eventually destroys them and the people around them.
A wonderful addition for the Bronte-phile in your life (even yourself).
The book itself is in excellent beautiful condition, done in a rich deep red supple leather w/ gold lettering on the spine, the pages are unmarred and topped with gold leaf. The box case shows some wear but is sturdy (please see photos).
