The boards are solid and intact, with a wonderful whimsical illustration. 
The spine is frayed at the top, as seen in the photos.
The lettering on the spine is faded, so you can hardly read it. 
The pages and illustrations are in excellent condition, unmarked and unbent. The cloth binding shows some wear and discoloration on the back cover but is otherwise without damage, and the spine is tight.
