This is a fascinating pocketbook delineating the national manners, customs, dress, arts, etc., with a genealogical chart printed by James Gilbert, 49, Paternoster Row, in 1857.
Condition - fair/delicate; the pages are yellowed with age but readable; several age stains and pencil marks are evident.
The cloth board and spine have separated and are in rough condition; the genealogical fold-out map is in excellent condition.

5 3/4 x 3 1/2 x 1/2 inches
